It's That Time Of Year

Well, One down, one to go!
Thanksgiving 2005 is officially over!!!
It is now the time of year that is my favorite!!!
CHRISTMAS!!!!!
No, it definitley is NOT the shopping thing!!!
That is the worst part of Christmas!!! (And any time for that matter!) There is WAY TOO MUCH humanity at large during this month
for me! Too many idiots who shouldn't have a drivers license,too many people who should not be aloud to be out in public, because they lack basic manners,and think the world is indebeted to them.
There are way too many people who think they need to "out-do" the other person, and spend more than they can really afford....
I could go on and on, but I think you know all the bad aspects of this month and what it does to people!
I like Christmas mostly because it is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Then there is the fact that I love to decorate for Christmas!!!!
I also enjoy seeing all the different decorations that people come up with. But I think my favorite thing is the annual "Christmas Light Siteseeing Trip" My sons and I enjoy together!!!
I love to hear the excitement in there voices when they see something that they really like!!! Even though they are 14 and almost 12, they still like to go on this trip with me! I think I will still go, even when they no longer want to. Maybe like me, they will never lose the fasination with the displays, and the tradition!!!!
I have already brought my 8 "Christmas Totes", and other various small boxes and bags of decor out of thier storage spot. Now it is time to decide how to decorate this year. Most of the totes contain my "Santa Collection". Perhaps I will be able to share some of it with you throughout the month.
It is now time to get to work, and gather the muses.....
That is if they are not still too stuffed with turkey and trimmings
to think!!!
